Dr. Padmasinhaji Patil

Hon. Dr. Padmasinhaji Patil, a man with golden dreams & enthusiasm for converting dreams into reality, is the Founder President of the “Terna Public Charitable Trust”. Education and social activities.

Dr. Patil, a renowned personality, has devoted his life to the cause of Education and social activities. Dr. Padmasinhaji Patil has also contributed to society by serving on various Social and Political Fronts. He is an Ex-Member of Parliament from Osmanabad (a part of the Marathwada region) and served as cabinet minister for almost 25+ years in Maharashtra. He had been Home minister, Irrigation minister and Energy Minister between 1980 to 2004. He was deputy leader of opposition in the legislative assembly between 1995 to 1999. He was representing the Osmanabad constituency in the State assembly till 2009 and also represented in Parliament.
He is well known for his easy accessibility to the public, which not only acts as a deterrent to bureaucratic delays but also encourages new ideas and viewpoints.

Shri Ranajagjitsinha Patil

Shri Ranajagjitsinha Patil has often been described by many as that “able, articulate and people’s man ” on the horizon of Indian public life who is not only armed with education, ability, understanding, high integrity but also with delivered milestones.

A telecommunication engineer by qualification is a visionary leader and has been instrumental in developing and implementing government policies in the field of self-employment, agriculture and Industries. He is also an entrepreneur in the IT, Electronics and service sectors. Through his efforts only, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation initiated the setting up of the Industrial zone in Kaudgaon at Osmanabad.

Mr. Patil is an architect of a government scheme under which Osmanabad got drinking water to the tune of 9 million liters per day (MLD) from a very famous Dam (Ujni) in Western Maharashtra (almost 118 km from town). He is also instrumental in making Osmanabad a Solar destination in Maharashtra. Ranadada, as he is known popularly in the region, is one of the youngest and tech-savvy leaders of Maharashtra took lead in the development of Tuljapur city and the famous Tuljamata Goddess temple through the State government. His guidance & leadership provided Terna Trust to grow and scale-up in the education sector. He is instrumental to promote art & sport, provide good educational infrastructure to the students and restore cultural heritage through the sociology-centered activities of the trust. He is very keen on spreading educational activities beyond mere education, but to reach the stage of applied research, employability development & skill enhancement.
