The Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO), established by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, promotes and coordinates scientific and industrial research to advance indigenous technology and innovation. At TPCT, Prof. Dr. Chandrashekhar Choudhari serves as the SIRO Coordinator, leading initiatives that enhance institutional research capabilities and foster innovation driven projects in line with DSIR’s objectives. Primly focusing on UNSDG-3. Under his cordinatorship, SIRO activities focus on industry–academia collaboration, technology transfer, and indigenous research promotion. His leadership aligns with DSIR’s mission of strengthening India’s technological self-reliance and industrial growth.
The Terna Public Charitable Trust (TPCT), established in 1980, is one of Maharashtra’s leading organizations in education and social service. Managing over 30 institutions across engineering, medicine, pharmacy, design, nursing, management, and schools, TPCT fosters excellence and innovation. The Trust emphasizes healthcare research, integrating expertise from its medical, pharmacy, nursing, and engineering institutions. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, TPCT drives advancements in diagnostics, medical technologies, and drug development. Its research initiatives promote knowledge creation and innovation across diverse fields. This collective effort translates into tangible improvements in community health and well-being.
