It is both an honour and a privilege to serve in a role that brings together multiple dimensions of academic leadership. The Terna Group of Institutions—comprising colleges in Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Design, and Engineering—represents a unique ecosystem with immense potential for interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. As we stand at the intersection of rapid technological advancement and evolving societal needs, there has never been a more crucial time to integrate knowledge across domains. As Associate Dean Faculty of Science and Technology at University of Mumbai we have already facilitated academic integration between disciplines such as science, commerce and arts for NEP 2020. I would like to extend this interdisciplinary approach to medical domain as well.

Having previously served as Principal of Terna Engineering College, I have witnessed firsthand the strength, commitment, and excellence that define the Terna ethos. It is based on that foundation of trust and experience that this expanded responsibility has been conferred upon me. To all students—you are at the heart of this journey. Your future will demand not only deep expertise but the ability to work across disciplines. To my colleagues—I look forward to engaging with you to build joint initiatives, research programs, and innovation platforms that enrich our academic ecosystem and serve the larger community.
